Settlement looks likely in alleged violation of Colorado ethics law by public trustees
The association representing Colorado's appointed and elected public trustees is expected to agree that it violated state ethics laws when it paid convention expenses at a Black Hawk casino with contributions from companies and individuals it did business with.

Can a criminal on probation be barred from smoking pot — even if he has a state certificate granting him the right to medical marijuana? The state Court of Appeals says the answer is yes, and we think it made the right call.
