Coors regular beer received high praise today from experts at Consumer Reports, which said that in recent taste tests, the beer was a runaway favorite. To determine the best brews, the experts at Consumer Reports conducted blind taste tests of 10 beers — eight top-selling regular and light beers plus two store brands.

A driver died in a single vehicle crash on I-70 in the mountains late this morning, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Unemployment claims rise after steady declines
The number of people seeking unemployment benefits rose last week after three weeks of decline. Even with the gain, applications remained at a level consistent with modest hiring. And the broader trend over the past month suggests job growth could pick up further in the new year.
