A 35-year-old Aurora man is charged with providing material support to the Islamic Jihad Union, a group that has claimed responsibility for attacks against coalition forces in Afghanistan. Jamshid Muhtorov, also known as Abumumin Turkistony and as Abu Mumin is a refugee from Uzbekistan.

Motorcycle gang members charged with drug crimes, explosives theft
Nineteen members of the Hell's Lovers motorcycle gang were charged this morning with drug trafficking crimes and stealing explosives and body armor from law enforcement.

Kevin McGregor murder trial opens in Boulder with 2nd request for change of venue
The murder trial of Longmont man Kevin McGregor in the March 2011 shooting death of University of New Hampshire football player Todd Walker on University Hill opened this morning with defense attorneys again raising concerns about McGregor's ability to get a fair trial in Boulder County.

Gas prices dip in Denver
Average retail gasoline prices in Denver fell 1.7 cents a gallon last week, averaging $2.93 per gallon, according to DenverGasPrices.com.
