Perfection. Shaun White, the iconic master of halfpipe of snowboarding, already had his five-peat. But in his third and final spin down the X Games superpipe, the flame-maned pipe slayer went higher, spun more and notched an historic 100-point, perfect score in the halfpipe.

Duchene not ready yet
Today marked the four-week anniversary of Matt Duchene’s left knee injury. Four weeks was the minimum time the Avalanche said the young forward would be sidelined. Duchene would be out “at least a month” was the official company line. Unfortunately for Avs fans, the minimum time will be exceeded. Duchene will not be in the

Lenzelle Smith Jr. scored 17 points and had a career-high 12 rebounds as No. 4 Ohio State flexed its muscle inside to beat No. 20 Michigan 64-49 on Sunday, keeping the Buckeyes in a first-place tie in the Big Ten.
