Steamboat Carnival
Steamboat Springs is the site of the 99th Winter Carnival, Feb. 8-12, the oldest continuing Winter Carnival west of the Mississippi. The entire town is given over to racing, ski jumping, a parade featuring Steamboat's skiing high school band, the famous skijoring events down Lincoln Avenue, and the spectacular night show.
