Chris Udofia's 27 points, four blocked shots lead Denver to key Sun Belt victory
With a monumental performance by sophomore Chris Udofia, the Denver Pioneers reeled off a significant 75-60 victory Saturday over Middle Tennessee, the class team of the Sun Belt Conference, in a nationally televised game.

Today's Avalanche

Avalanche loses 3-2 to Vancouver Canucks in shootout
In the waning moments Saturday, the only disheartening aspect of the Avalanche's performance was that the game was close.

All Things Avs

Stunned Avalanche only gets a point against Canucks
Tough shootout loss for the Avalanche, which gains a point for the first time in five games but falls 3-2 to the Vancouver Canucks at the Pepsi Center. Ryan O’Reilly (missed shootout bid) and TJ Galiardi (two errant attempts on an empty-net in the final minute of regulation) were pretty bent out of shape in

INDIANAPOLIS _ I’m having breakfast at a hotel restaurant when it’s pointed out that Alec Baldwin is sitting at the table over. I look over about 15 times (what is wrong with me?) but I don’t strike up the nerve to say anything. My wife is always on me for never getting her autographs and

Today's Nuggets

Portland Trail Blazers beat tired Denver Nuggets 117-97
The Nuggets' legs weren't completely dead Saturday night, but completing a back-to-back-to-back set didn't come close to translating into a victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Willoughby: Christo goes "Over" the top with Arkansas River project
Edward Abbey gets the credit for dubbing the nation's largest land manager as the Bureau of Livestock and Mining, or more succinctly, Bad Land Management.

Today's Rockies

Renck: Colorado Rockies' revival starts with spring training
Spring training is baseball's antibiotic. The pitching, fielding, stuffy-head, so-you-can-rest-easy medicine. Everyone arrives in camp with hope, a mixture of healed limbs and carved physiques.

Today's Skiing

Lindsey Vonn newest member of World Cup skiing's 50-win club
A career milestone and a rare family reunion. All of which left Lindsey Vonn in tears, and it made for a perfect day.

Woody Paige

Woody Paige: Broncos' VI Super Bowls won't ever be forgotten
From MCMLXXVIII to MCMXCIX, the Broncos played in more Super Bowls than any other NFL team — VI (XII, XXI, XXII, XXIV, XXXII and XXXIII).
