Avalanche just cut six players. One of them was 2011 first-round pick Duncan Siemens, who was sent back to the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL. I guess I’m a little surprised he was sent back so soon, but it was always a real longshot he’d make the team this year having just turned 18. I

The Broncos customarily start home day games at 2 or 2:15 p.m.
