Cybersecurity is one of the biggest new threats facing our country this century. Federal, state, and industry leaders agree that now is the time for businesses and every branch of government nationwide to secure their communications and information infrastructure against the risk of cyber attack. Because it¹s no longer a matter of if your organization will be the victim of a cyber attack, but when, and how severe it will be. CyberSecurity Summit WEST brings together an impressive cross-section of leading federal, state, and industry cybersecurity experts to deliver key insights into critical security issues surrounding cyber networks, mobile devices, and cloud infrastructures. Learn what DHS, NSA, FBI and cybersecurity organizations are doing to keep existing and future networks safe from cyber crime before it happens. This event is co-hosted by two leading cybersecurity education providers: Billington CyberSecurity and Jones International University. CyberSecurity Summit WEST keynote speakers represent a distinguished cross-section of legislative bodies and federal agencies. Don't become a cyber crime statistic Companies are learning the hard way they are underprepared for cyber attacks. A recent study by Symantec put the global cost of cybercrime at $114 billion annually. Ponemon Institute, an Internet security research firm, estimates that 2011 security breaches so far have cost U.S. companies $96 billion. And security incidents among 24 key U.S. government agencies have jumped more than 650% in the last five years. Find out how your organization can guard against the crippling financial effects of cyber crime. Other events tend to focus on one particular area of cybersecurity. CyberSecurity Summit WEST breaks that mold to bring you an all-encompassing viewpoint, one that will provide you with strategic and actionable steps that your department, business, or organization can take to help protect its communications and information infrastructure against a possible cyber meltdown.
