Colorado Avalanche gets blanked 1-0 at Minnesota
In one, nasty little sequence, it all fell apart for the Avalanche here in what was possibly one of the dullest hockey games in recent memory. The Avs would have been happy for everyone inside the Xcel Energy Center to be bored for just a few more minutes Thursday night, because at least they would have gotten into overtime and gotten a precious point.

Today's Broncos

Tim Tebow's late TD lifts Broncos over Jets
There is weakness in form and strength under pressure. Tim Tebow is a quarterback with pronounced flaws as his Broncos fall behind, and an indomitable will to prevail at the end.

All Things Broncos

Catching up with Ray Romano on Jets sidelines
So who's the bigger star, Ray Romano or Tim Tebow? ""I'm a huge fan of Tebow,'' Romano, the comedic star of former TV shows, "Everybody Loves Raymond'' (an enormous hit) and "Men of a Certain Age,'' (not so much) said from the Jets' sideline prior to the game. ""Even though I'm a Jets' fan, I

NBA (National Burger Adventure): Denver's FIRST Steak 'N Shake
Nuggets writer Benjamin Hochman samples the best burgers in each city, documenting his excellent adventure (bogus journey?) of savoring bliss on a bun. I've never been to India. I've been to Indiana, but I've never been to India, so in my first 31 years, 181 days and nine hours, I'd never experienced what it's like

Today's Post Preps

Valor Christian stays in CHSAA limbo about classification, league
Valor Christian continues to absorb the ire of other schools. The Colorado High School Activities Association's Classification and League Organizing Committee (CLOC) meeting this week was more telling.

Today's Outdoors: Hunting and Fishing

Idaho man charged with trying to kill Obama
Federal authorities charged a 21-year-old Idaho man on Thursday with trying to assassinate President Barack Obama. They said he had told friends that the president was "the Antichrist" and that he "needed to kill him," according to a complaint filed in federal court.

Today's Rockies

Kershaw wins NL Cy Young Award
Clayton Kershaw might be the only one not comparing him with Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax. Both are left-handed aces for the Los Angeles Dodgers. And now both Cy Young Award winners.

Mark Kiszla

Kiszla: Miller puts nasty back in orange and blue
The prayers of the Broncos answered, quarterback Tim Tebow knelt in prayer at midfield of the stadium after a rousing 17-13 victory against the New York Jets. A congregation of believers wearing No. 15 chanted Tebow's name. This is his church.

Woody Paige

Paige: Tebow proves to be the wheel deal in sequel to "TheDrive"
With 58 seconds to go Thursday night, as Tim Tebow ran across the goal line with the winning touchdown, John Elway stood up to applaud and whistle.
