Safer in the suburbs but Denver metro area is narrowing up
The comforting conventional wisdom that suburbs are safer than cities doesn't hold true to the degree it once did. A Brookings Institution study recently found that, while crime overall has receded, the gap between city and suburban crime rates has narrowed.
