Broken index finger finishes Herrera's season early
If you're keeping score, that's Doors 2, Rockies 0. Six months after Aaron Cook suffered a broken right ring finger by shutting a door on his hand, Jonathan Herrera experienced a similar fate Sunday night. "Just playing with my kids," Herrera said. The mishap broke Herrera's right index finger and caused ligament damage to his right pinkie, injuries that will end his season.
