Ayers, Shaughnessy fined for rough play in Broncos-Raiders game
Considering there were 25 penalties between them, the Broncos and Raiders got off easy. Broncos defensive end Robert Ayers was fined $7,500 for his unnecessary roughness penalty Monday against the Raiders. Ayers grabbed Darren McFadden by the facemask and darn near gave the Raiders' running back a whiplash. Raiders defensive end Matt Shaughnessy was fined

A year older and wiser, Pete Thomas will step onto Sports Authority Field at Mile High a more confident player. He's been solid, if not spectacular, this season, completing 73 percent of his passes.
