Tim Tebow wore a green tie Monday morning as he stood at an interview podium in his first public appearance as a New York Jet. His trade away from the Broncos is now nearly five days old, but seeing him there, in front of about 200 members of the New York media, wearing green, made it real.

2 dead in car crash that closes westbound I-70 near Frisco
A double fatal accident on westbound Interstate 70 has the highway closed at Frisco. Sgt. Mike Baker, a spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol, said the highway is closed westbound. Eastbound traffic has been reduced to one lane.

Three Colorado men have been arrested in connection with drug trafficking and a murder-for-hire plot with alleged military ties, according to the United States Attorney's Office in Texas.

Denver gas prices up 8.1 cents in past week
Average retail gasoline prices in Denver have risen 8.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.67 per gallon Sunday. This compares with the national average that has increased 4.5 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.86 per gallon, according to gasoline price website DenverGasPrices.com.

Gary-Williams Energy settles oil investigation for $2.7 million
Denver-based Gary-Williams Energy Co. has agreed pay $2.73 million as part of a settlement of allegations it failed to pay money owed on oil acquired from the Department of the Interior, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Denver.

Comverge agrees to $49 million buyout
Comverge Inc. has agreed to a roughly $49 million buyout with private equity firm H.I.G. Capital in a deal the energy management company said solves its "immediate" need for capital.
