Snow to halt in mountains this afternoon, as winds pick up on Eastern Plains
A blast of wintry weather in the north and central mountains of Colorado could dump more than six inches of new snow in some areas by this afternoon before the system quickly moves out.

The average retail gasoline price in Colorado shot up 6.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.49 a gallon on Sunday, according to the gasoline price website ColoradoGasPrices.com.
