Book accolade's surprise ending disappoints Fort Collins author
A week ago, Fort Collins author Lauren Myracle, whose young-adult novels include the enormously successful "ttyl" series, was ecstatic to learn that her latest book, "Shine," was on the shortlist for this year's prestigious National Book Award. But the feeling didn't last long.
