Rockies rookie pitcher Drew Pomeranz was arrested at 1:25 a.m. Friday morning in Oxford, Miss., after leaving a bar with friends according to the Oxford (Miss.) Eagle, and charged with disturbing the peace.

Rockies rookie pitcher Drew Pomeranz was arrested early this morning in Oxford, Miss. and charged with disturbing the peace. Pomeranz, a left-hander who was considered the centerpiece of the Ubaldo Jimenez trade, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. after leaving a bar with friends, according to the Oxford (Miss.) Eagle. He was released on cash bond
