Also a spot-on Amy Winehouse, a workable Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and numerous characters of her own invention. Ryan started making Web-based comedic parodies in her apartment not so long ago. She built an enormous online following for her YouTube videos (most of which are not family viewing, let alone suitable for the office). Ryan eventually attracted the attention of the networks and landed a gig that begins this weekend on VH1. "Stevie TV" will be replayed throughout the evening and across the network's schedule. Will she be the next big YouTube-to-television success story? She's definitely tapped a rich comic vein with a sharp, edgy female perspective on curent pop-culture stars. More Best Bets >> |
