Tips from the Experts

Don't eat that!

Chocolate, Macadamia nuts, avocados – these foods may sound delicious to you, but they're dangerous for pets. The ASPCA has developed a list of the top toxic people foods to avoid feeding your pet. If you suspect your pet has eaten a dangerous item, note the amount ingested and contact your veterinarian or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435. For foods to avoid, click here.

Adoptable pets from the
Dumb Friends League

"Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, I'm Paddy, a handsome, outgoing, 8-year-old, neutered male, tri-color, purebred Australian shepherd. I'm use to hearing, 'Good boy!' So, that must mean I have good manners, right? I have lived with cats in the past and enjoy being with other dogs. And I love yummy dog treats" Paddy's ID number is A0609250.
