Lack of power plays troubles Avs' Sacco again even in win
The New York Rangers got five power plays to two for the Avalanche on Saturday night, but you would never have guessed they got more calls based on the booing by Rangers fans at Madison Square Garden toward the officials — not to mention some arms-in-the-air antics by Rangers coach John Tortorella.

Postgame Avs-Rangers: Varlemous
NEW YORK – The better goaltender won tonight. That sums up this hockey game tonight at Madison Square Garden, where the Avalanche beat the Rangers 3-1. Mark Kiszla

Kiszla: Led by André Roberson, CU Buffs' future bright in men's basketball
While Baylor arrogantly looked down on Colorado as a reject from the Big 12 Conference, the Bears might not want to look too closely at the truth.

Woody Paige
