Meet ... Jason Lasser
Negotiating a wave while kitesurfing in South Florida last month, Aspen architect Jason Lasser's right foot collided with a spinner shark. The shark bit back, leaving Lasser, 43, with a gash that severed tendons and ligaments, required 26 stitches to close — and led to the discovery of a previously undiagnosed, potentially fatal heart condition.

Is it really a good idea for college students to be packing heat on campus? We don't think so, and we also think rules governing guns on college grounds should be made by each school's board of regents.
