South Platte River bounces back for fly-fishing after Hayman Fire
This stretch of the South Platte River was one of the top fishing tailwaters in the United States 10 years ago, registering between 2,000 and 3,000 trout per mile in its winding waters 50 miles southwest of Denver, according to local experts.
