Tips from the Experts

HB 1125 to protect pets

Gov. John Hickenlooper signed into law a bill that makes Colorado much safer for abused and neglected animals. Historic HB 1125 will minimize stress on seized animals by getting them into adoptive homes faster and streamline the impound process while reducing expenses for cities counties and humane societies. The bill will become law Sept. 1. For more information and to read the bill in its entirety, visit here.

Dumb Friends League

"Hey! I'm Thomas, a 6-year-old, neutered male, gray tabby, medium-hair cat. Feather and mice toys are very engaging - they help nurture my natural hunting instincts. Right now, I'm in a foster home waiting to be adopted. I'd love to join your family." Thomas' ID number is A0580030, or call 303-751-5772 x7309 to visit with him.
