How much is a bachelor's worth?

So, you started college way back when with good intentions - then life got in the way before you could finish. Sound familiar? What if you knew how much a bachelor's degree was actually worth? Maybe you'd be more inclined to finish what you started.

According to the Department of Labor & Employment, Colorado added almost 5,000 jobs in February. But if you're still looking for work, these numbers can raise troubling questions: What's wrong with my resume? Why was I not hired?

Steer clear of these three coworker types

Coworkers are the people who can make a so-so job spectacular. The great ones offer up a helping hand, a sympathetic ear and a strong opinion about last night's "American Idol." But there are some folks wandering the same halls who could harm your career rather than help it - just by getting in the way every day.

Help boss keep her word

Dear J.T. & Dale: My boss sent an e-mail letting us know we would be receiving our bonuses. However, when they came out, my name was not on the list. (I only recently became eligible.) Since we have a new executive team, my boss said she would get it straightened out. When I still didn't receive it, I e-mailed her and she responded back "Rats," and said she'd check into it. When she got back into the office a week later, she mentioned that she'd seen my e-mail about my bonus but had not responded. I didn't say anything but was taken aback since she had responded. I later realized that she had retracted her e-mail response. (I had not opened the e-mail, just previewed it.) She said she'd straighten out the bonus at the half-year, plus get me some extra money for salary. Should I tell her what I know?
