"Did you know that Mitt Romney is listed in two national animal cruelty databases?" The question appeared this week in yet another e-mail at my office from activists trying to exploit the GOPcandidate's well-chewed-over incident in 1983 in which he transported the family dog to a vacation home in a rooftop crate.
