President Barack Obama will push Congress to halt student loan interest rates from going up on 7.4 million people this summer when he speaks at the University of Colorado at Boulder Tuesday, White House officials told The Denver Post.

Colorado's unemployment rate in March remained at 7.8 percent — the third month in a row it as remained at that figure, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment said today. Employers in Colorado added 2,600 nonfarm payroll jobs from February to March for a total of 2,290,500 nonpayroll jobs, according to the survey of business establishments.
