DNA evidence clears Colorado man who has served 18 years of life sentence for murder
Authorities today announced that not only does new DNA evidence clear Robert Dewey of the 1994 rape and strangling of a young Palisade woman, but points the finger at a new suspect. Prosecutors re-examined evidence found in 19-year-old Jacie Taylor's apartment after her death and with new technology, lifted a full DNA profile from semen found on a blanket.
